What is the purpose of Astrology?
Jyotish provides profound knowledge into planetary influences affecting our physical environment, our mental state and our spiritual aspirations including relationships, work, family etc.
Astrology gives you a deeper understanding of yourself and what motivates you. It provides you with a formula through symbol and story on your circumstances and how the world works. Astrology aims to:
- Look in and identify the "I" behind your experiences.
- Put you in touch with your "Divine spark" while relieving you from the bondage of "Self".
- Provide insight into your strengths and weaknesses.
- Learn how you can remedy problem situations.
- Strengthen your spiritual faith in the Divine plan for your life.
- Inspire you to celebrate your uniqueness.
* You will learn to see how the movements of the planets correspond to the events in your life.*
* The course is designed to empower you to make choices based on your unique potential in all aspects of life including work, finances, family and relationships.*

To belong in the world is our deepest need
To belong in the world is our deepest need and the four primary areas or goals which give us that sense of having a place here are:
1. having a sense of well-being (1st House)
2. a means to support oneself (10th House)
3. supportive relationships (7th House)
4. a place of sanctuary or inner peace (4th House)
Conflicts created by our need for fulfilment in these areas are part of the harmonious dance as each gets its opportunity to perform in the course of a day and a lifetime.
We all need to have a role in the world and it’s opposite is our need for home as a sanctuary from the world.
The other opposing need is to have a personal destiny to fulfill as well as a need for relationships.
We are always dancing between what seems like chaotic conflict, which brings with it the gift of continuous growth.
The harmony of the balance which eventually sets in as we get used to the new situation or people and then the tragedy experienced when it is time to let go of the old to make way for the new.
Unfortunately we cannot experience harmony all the time as the fundamentally continuous truth of our survival requires movement.
Nothing in the universe stands still - no date or time or experience can ever be repeated
We can learn to move with the changes, get stuck in a rut and or take the medication necessary to cover our fear and help us to cope.
Growth is being able to face the fears that once may have crippled us. For instance, when we walk into a new place or meet a stranger we start the dance with initial nervousness or shyness followed by attraction or
aversion depending on our emotional response to the experience but eventually we have to let it go as we move to the next situation.
We stay in our comfort zone, procrastinating for as long as possible, especially as we get older, but it cannot last as we must move. It’s just how it is.....
